Mantis bug tracker – user is not listed in “assign to”

The other day a friend of mine had a problem with Mantis bug tracker - it was kind of weird - user has been created and and even that it seemed like he should have access (as he was given access to the project) he had some sort of low permission so he could not have been given "assign" to. The solution is quite easy - sign in as manager or higher and go to - [manage] - [ Manage Projects ] and as you "Add user to project" make sure he is a developer or higher - otherwise it won't work. How to allow users to mount Truecrypt volumes without root privileges

The other day a friend of mine asked me if I could do something about it - to allow regular users to mount Truecrypt volumes without making them sudoers. Sure it can be done - here it is: 1) login as root 2) modify /etc/sudoers, this should be actually done via special command: visudo 3) add this line to the sudoers file: username ALL=(root) NOPASSWD:/usr/bin/truecrypt where username is the username which needs to use the Truecrypt 4) That's it! Profit 😉 Kudos to the Read more [...]
